The Benefits of Chemical Exfoliation Treatments:
      • minimizes the appearance of fine lines
      • reduces the appearance of superficial hyperpigmentation
      • improves elasticity      • improves skin tone and texture
      • increases skin’s ability to absorb products
      • refines the appearance of pores
      • improves the skin’s overall appearance
Our Anti-aging chemical exfoliation or "peels" provide amazing results.

To render the best results, a complete skin care program is highly recommended.  Preparing your skin at least 2-4 weeks prior to the first treatment will enhance your outcome.  This program will also help with the renewal process after the treatment.

Listed below are the indications for a chemical exfoliation treatment.  It is advised to have a consultation with your aesthetician to determine the best course of treatment before scheduling any Chemical or Manual exfoliation treatment.
Chemical exfoliation treatments will improve:
      • fine lines      • uneven tone
      • irregular skin texture      • photodamaged skin
      • acneic skin      • rosacea
      • dehydrated skin      • congested skin
      • sluggish skin
Contraindications:

Additionally there are contraindications to receiving a chemical exfoliation treatment. See below for the listing of contraindications that would prevent someone from being a candidate for a treatment.

• active facial rashes  • open or unidentified lesions
• serious illness  • deficient immune system
• pregnancy or lactating  • recent laser resurfacing or surgery
• accutane usage  • high blood pressure
• diabetes  • heart disease  • sunburn

•  A chemical exfoliation treatment cannot be performed on the same day as injectables or waxing.
• Salicylic acid cannot be used if you are allergic to aspirin.
• Chemical exfoliation treatments (primarily Glycolic, Salicylic, or Modified Jessner) should not be on your first appointment.  It is important to analyze your skin prior to exfoliation and set up a home care program to prepare your skin.  Your initial appointment should be regular facial.
• Absolutely no tanning prior to or after chemical exfoliation treatments.
If you have any viral lesions such as herpes simplex, you need to take medication before receiving a chemical exfoliation because it may cause a flare-up. Chemical exfoliation treatment cannot be performed on anyone with active herpes simplex.
